Sunday Scrappin'

Sunday Scrappin' is a great place to share your paper crafts, cards, scrapbook layouts, or digital layouts. Won't you join us?

I found another site with sketch challenges: Scrap Jazz. This is the link to the November sketch.

I received a bloggy carnival giveaway win today from QueenMotherBlog. I won a set of alphabet stamps and an ink pad, and I'm so excited! I have a card I need to make tomorrow, and I will be using my new stamps!

My Ta-Da's for this week:
4 Scrapbook Pages, 3 Christmas Cards, and 6 Gift Tags

This week, I used a page from Bailey's Granny's SS post last week as a model for one of my own. See if you can figure out which of her layouts was my inspiration for this two-page layout.

I also used a sketch from the May archives of Pagemaps for another one of my pages. Here's the sketch and what I created from the sketch.

My last page was created from a sketch at Got Sketch. Here's the sketch and what I created.

The paper and embellishments on the last two pages were from a kit I won in the last bloggy carnival from The Coconut Scrapshop.

Here are the cards and gift tags I made:

To-Do's:

I just want to stay on a roll, creating pages, cards, gift tags. And I really want to do another online challenge in addition to the SS challenge.

I've also been invited to a scrapbook retreat at the end of January, and I am seriously considering going. Lastly, I want to gather some friends for a local crop at The Scrapbook Studio, but I have to make sure I can find ten people willing to pay the $40 each (use all the cutters, software, cricut and embellishments for free, plus tons of space, dinner, snacks, and drinks included).

Optional Challenge:

Last week, our challenge was to use an online sketch as a basis for a page. I did that! This week's challenge is to do something with Thanksgiving (cards, placemats, or other crafts). I did a Thanksgiving page this week, so I will have to think hard about this.

Don't forget my cookbook giveaway! Happy Scrappin'!

  8. I love lots of crafty things, but cannot get excited about scrap booking. I admire what other people do - I really like your pages - but cannot find any motivation to do the same myself. I guess it's good we don't all like the same things.
