The Bumbles has been hosting the Monday Movie Meme for quite some time now, but with a new addition to the family, it may not continue.
So this week's topic is all about movie endings.
My picks are as follows:
Best Movie Ending Ever - The Wizard of Oz (1939).
Most Frustrating Movie Ending - Inception 92010)
Good Movie Ending - Contagion (2011)
Predictable, but cute, Movie Ending - Gnomeo and Juliet (2011)
Humorous Movie Ending - The Hangover (1) (2009)
Disappointing Move Ending - The Blair Witch Project. (1999)

Swapoween!
Swapoween was a great Halloween swap hosted by Beth at Living a Goddess Life and Miss Angie at My So-Called Chaos. I was partnered with the fabulous Lovely One from Looking for Luck, Love, And...
Here are my goodies!
I got some great stuff! She sent me a Funfetti cake mix (the same one I sent her... great minds!) and an adorable cupcake party pack. I had been eyeing that myself. I just love the Trick-or-Treat sign. It's hanging by my front door now! Also love the magnetic notepad, so cute and useful! See those fun jack-o-lantern figurines? They are on my mantle. The hand towels are so cute, too, and she sent me a bag of pumpkin erasers, chosen by her little one. Oh, and I can't forget the really funny Halloween card.
I sure hope she enjoyed the package I sent, because I just love the one I received. Thanks, Lovely One!

Friday Confessional
Time to link up with Mamarazzi and confess it all!
I confess...
I need to schedule my teenage kids to get flu shots, and I keep forgetting. My son had the flu last year, and it was not pretty. I get mine every year since I work with kids.
I confess...
I'm taking two "sick" days at the end of the month to drive to Atlanta to watch my daughter perform at a competition. And I confess, I'm taking my son (and husband) with me. Yes, he will have to miss two days of school, but this isn't something we often have the opportunity to do. Actually, we never have! I realize I'm a teacher, and I'm taking my own child out of school, but it is what it is!
I confess...
I had planned to take off work this past Monday - it marked exactly 7 years since my dad passed away, so I wanted to stay home and be alone for a while. But since I had to take off last Friday for my bother-in-law's mother's funeral, I didn't feel like I should take off Monday as well. Drats! You'd think after 7 years I would be able to deal with my grief okay, and I think I can, but I just don't want to!
And I confess...
I sometimes use More Words to help me find a word when I am playing Scrabble on Facebook. It's probably cheating, but sometimes I use it.

My Happy List
Come on and link up with Mamarazzi at Our Dandelion Wishes and share your reasons to be happy!
Watching my daughter perform with Color Guard and the marching band. I got to see her Friday night and Saturday at a competition, and it makes me happy on a number of levels. Proud, yes, but happy to see her taking part in an organized school activity, making new friends, having fun, and being active. She's on the 40 yard line in the middle of the field in this picture, the beginning of their ten minute routine.
Having lunch with a great blog friend and friend-in-real-life, 3 Sides of Crazy. I have been blessed to have her living not far from me for the last year and a half, and since she is moving out of state soon, I was so happy I got to have lunch with her one last time before she leaves. Here we are having lunch.
I mailed my Swapoween package, and that makes me happy! I can't show you a picture of what's in it, yet, but come back soon to see the goodies.
And I'm happy to give away free software to someone who likes to do digital scrapbooking, if someone would just check out my post!

My Happy List
Mamarazzi has moved her Happy List posts to Tuesdays, and I am barely making the deadline, so...
1. I'm happy I was able to make time to read some email and create this post.
2. I'm participating in a book study with other ladies in my church, and that makes me happy! It is a time for renewal of my spirit. My motto for the week is "Think happy thoughts." I'm going to put it on sticky notes and post it in a few places around the house and at work as a gentle reminder to myself.
3. I am so proud of my daughter. She performed so well during the homecoming half time show Friday and participated in her first competition on Saturday. She's practicing so hard and putting her heart into it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, see my Scrappy Saturday post for pictures. She dances and twirls rifles and flags with the band during marching season.
4. My son attended his first FFA meeting. I had to MAKE him go, but he ended up enjoying it. I want both of my kids to be active in extra-curricular activities at school, so this made me happy!
5. Last, I'm happy I get to offer a great software giveaway to someone who likes to do digital scrapbooking, photo cards, and more. See the My Memories Suite post.
These are the things that have made me happy this last week. How about you? Link up with Mamarazzi and share your "happies!"

My Memories Suite
This giveaway is now closed. The Knit Wit is the winner!
I haven't had much time for scrapbooking lately, but I did get some new software. It's called My Memories Suite. I am really enjoying using it! I can open it up, do a little bit, and go back to it any time when I have a few minutes to play with it. It's so easy to use, and there are some really great features such as cute backgrounds and embellishments. You can use premade layouts or create your own. This is my practice album. There are many options for sharing, and you can even print jpgs to put in an album (several different sizes and layouts available). I decided to make it into a slideshow. I chose not to add music yet because I may add to this album later. I'm liking it so far! You can make scrapbook layouts, photo books, cards, videos, you name it! I'm posting it twice in two different formats. For some reason, both of them came out to 5 seconds when they should be 40 seconds. I think it's blogger, though, because when I view on my computer, it works fine. I'm going to try a different setting tomorrow, but for now...
Click here to go to a post that shows all the of pages used in the slideshow so you can see the detail and embellishments.
I have great news! I'm giving a copy of the software away FREE to one of you! This is open to residents of the US or Canada. Just leave a comment below, and you will be entered. Want more entries? Leave a separate comment for each entry telling me which of the following you did.
Giveaway open until 11:59 PM CST October 18, 2011. Coupon code does not expire.
