Gift Card Holders and Travel Manicure Rolls

Hello friends!  During the holiday season, I made some gift card holders for several family members.  It was actually pretty easy.  I used a pattern and followed directions from Hello Sewing.
Not actual size!

You can make them with ribbon to tie on a tree, or use ribbon a different way to tie  a bow.  You could even make them with no ribbon at all. I made this one with a bow.

What do you think?

My daughter thinks I should open an Etsy shop!  Not just for this, but for the blankets, totebags, key chains, and other things I've made as well.  I'm not sure I'm a good enough sewist for that!

I made these travel manicure sets for the three daughters for Christmas with instructions provided by Happiest Camper.

Top is closed and tied.  Bottom is an open inside look before I put in files, clippers, and so on.

These were a few of my sewing projects from December.

I'm linking up with Friendship Friday and Crafty Creators.  Come back soon for more!  Have a great weekend!

  1. Those are lovely! You're better at sewing than i am, the last time someone tried to each me to sew, she ended by making me promise to never touch a sewing machine again!
