Random Happy Tuesday

Whew!  The last week has been ROUGH!  I spent a lot of time with my son on Mother's Day, and we both went to see my mom, so that was truly special.  My husband bought me flowers and took me to dinner.

And we have a short getaway planned for next week. But man!  Last week was turbulent!  That. Is. All.

I was looking at a local news site today and saw a very inspiring story about a 19 year old girl who is graduating from Southern Methodist University (in Dallas, next door to where my daughter works)  with a law degree!  Meet Haley Taylor Schlitz

She went from public school to being home schooled in fifth grade due to the lack of acceptance into traditional gifted and talented programs.  She graduated high school at age 13.  She graduated from Texas Woman's University at age 16  and was accepted to nine law schools. When she graduates SMU's law school May 13, she will be the youngest ever to do so.  She is also an author (2 published books thus far), a public speaker, and an advocate for women and people of color.  Sounds like she is destined to do great things.

If that didn't put a smile in your heart or on your face, I don't know what will!

Keep those smiles coming!

This struck me as hilarious!

And last, but not least...

Have a great week!
