Happy New Random Tuesday

I'm linking up with Sandee and Stacy.

No, you won't be reading about my New Year's resolutions, because if you've been reading my blog a while, you know I don't make them.  I may set goals at different times throughout the year, but no New Year's resolutions.  Does anyone ever keep them?

I've been watching the last few episodes of Tayshia as Bachelorette (finally finished).  She and her beaus constantly say, "I'm not gonna lie" as a preface to all sorts of things.  I'm not gonna lie!  I'm getting to really hate it.  Is it a young person thing? Why preface a statement with this?  Does this mean all the other things they said might have been lies?  Sorry.  Rant over.

Have any of you watched Bridgerton?  I thought I'd give it a try, if for nothing else but the great costumes, but oh my word!  I loved it!  It's not even the type of show I usually go for, but this one hooked me from the very beginning.

Two of our daughters came to visit the past few days.  We hadn't seen one of them and her new husband since the wedding two months ago.  The other daughter brought her husband, their sweet baby, and the granddogs.  Granddaughters are so precious!  She's ten months old and just delightful!

Last month in Somerset, Massachusetts, two women and their children were detained at a grocery store for shoplifting.  Instead of taking them to jail, the responding police officer, Matt Lima, purchased $250.00 in grocery cards for them.  How's that for feel-good? What a great person!

And now...

And to leave you with an awwwww...

Have a great week!

  3. I don't make resolutions either, but do set goals here and there throughout the year. Works for me.

  5. I'm right there with you - I don't get the 'I'm not gonna lie'... OK, well, I hope that's *always* the case, but does that mean if you don't preface whatever you're going to say, everything else is a lie? Same goes for saying something followed by "no offense..." then why say it? You know whatever it was must have been offensive or people would take offense with it... just my 2-cents. ;)

LOVED all the funnies!! Thank you for the belly laughs!
