Photo Wednesday

Bluebonnets are a big deal in Texas!  It's been our state flower since 1901!  Bluebonnet fields appear from late February through April and sometimes even May.  And although Bluebonnets grow in other places, there are two specific species,

Lupinus Texensic and Lupinus Subcarnosis, that only grown in Texas.  Bluebonnet photo shoots are extremely popular!

This is our beautiful granddaughter at her first Bluebonnet
photo shoot earlier this year.

Isn't she precious?   Man, I love this little girl!
