Friday Confessional

It's time to bare my soul...

I confess...

I said I was NOT going to watch the "Royal Wedding."  I said I didn't care about anything involved in that at all.  I was tired of all the hype.  Why is there still royalty in the world, anyway?  Silly!

But... I'm going to admit it... Wait for it... Okay... Now...Yes, I'm confessing that my DVR is set to record the whole thing, and I will be watching, particularly to see Westminster Abbey and Kate's dress.  I have to admit I'm curious.

I confess...

I've gotten really frustrated twice this week when a couple of alarms failed to wake anyone up except for me.  I don't have to get up as early as a few of the other people in the house, but I had to get up two days in a row to ask them to please turn their alarms off.  Then, I couldn't go back to sleep!

And I confess...

I haven't made any progress on our daughter's scrapbook album this week.  It's a graduation present, and I only have about six weeks to finish it, but it's so hard to get motivated when the computer is right here calling my name.  Whew!  That was a big confession!

Come link up with Mamarazzi and Glamazon.  Confession is good for the soul!

  1. I hate other people's alarms--namely my hubby's. He love the snooze bar, I don't go back to sleep after the darn thing goes off. I think that's why I usually get up first.

  2. I was in the same boat about the wedding. But then, I recorded it. And it didn't record all of it. Sad.

And ugh, I hate that about other people alarms. Not cool at all!

  3. I had to laugh because I wrote a similar confession about the wedding. Also procrastinating on a couple of things so I can relate with you there.

  4. 6 weeks PSHHhhh you can do it! :)
I wasn't that into the royal wedding either. It looked like everything was for show anyways and not sad! - see I watched it too LOL ....but online.

  5. I have the same exact feelings about the royal wedding! And that dress was beautiful!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. I did the same thing. My daughter and I fast forward through the boring stuff.

  7. We have the alarm issue here too!

I watched the re-broadcasting of the wedding. I never told anyone I wanted to see it because I didn't want to hear about it. I woke up early to watch his Mother get married and wanted to do the same this time but it was Todd's night off. I loved her dress and the trees in the Abbey were breath taking.

I hear you with the graduation prep work.

I hope you have a better week.

I love comments! Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
