Heads or Tails

The theme/prompt for THIS week, February 9, is:
HEADS - "Chain"
Make any kind of post using any form of the word "Chain"

A CHAIN is only as strong as its weakest link.
A team is only as strong as its weakest player.
A group is only as strong as its weakest member.

This expression can be useful when building a foundation for success. It can be used to encourage everyone to be strong and to try their best. It applies to the human component of an organization or team, but it also applies to the communication and technical aspects of a well-run group. If communication becomes a weak link, the entire “chain” will suffer.

Just my two cents.

  1. I think this holds true with a lot of things including friendships and other relationships.

*hugs* Think about you all the time.

  2. I think there's a lot of truth in that saying. Although I've been on some great teams with some pretty weak links. Once members identify the weak links, they don't assign them anything crucial to a project. Stronger team members take on more responsibilities. Doesn't always seem fair. But as another saying goes, "Who said that life's fair."

And after retirement, it all seems far less important. Ahh.

  3. I've never participated in this meme. It sounds fun. I like the way you used the word. Very positive and useful.
