Random Tuesday-Potter, it's Cold Outside

Happy New Year!  How about joining me for Random Tuesday Thoughts and Happy Tuesday?

Any Harry Potter fans out there?  I love Harry Potter... the books and the movies... just the whole magical world of Harry Potter.  I recently watched Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, a 4-episode trivia contest/game show about HP.

The questions were extremely difficult!  I couldn't have answered most of them.  I love HP, but I'm not an expert!  I am in the process of re-reading the series.  I think I've been reading too many true crime and legal thrillers lately.

And speaking of HP, I went to my daughter's house yesterday to watch the HP 20th Anniversary:  Return to Hogwarts.  It was SO GOOD! I was feeling really nostalgic. This particular daughter and I bonded over the HP books and movies. It really had an impact on our relationship.

About two years ago, my (grown) son said he wanted to watch the series with me.  Due to work and other obligations, it took us a few months to watch since we could only do so on certain days of the week. That was a lot of fun.

Have you gotten your Christmas decorations packed away?  My husband and I got that done over the weekend. It's a little sad putting them away (for me, not him).  I just love Christmas decorations!  We also spent part of the afternoon Sunday in Galveston, but it was quite cold.

Speaking of cold, we went from a high of 85 on December 31 to a low of 36 just two days later!  It will range from 41 to 75 degrees for the forecasted lows and highs during the coming week. Crazy!

Now on to something more lighthearted.

Remember her?

You'd think there would be an easier way!

It's levi o' sa, not leviosah.

Me, literally, whenever I watch TV!

If you have a bad day...

About this time, you're probably saying...

Have a great week!

  1. Good funnies. We put our Christmas stuff away before New Years as Mom says it has been up for 5 weeks, the event is over, it comes down. Harry Potter is all over Disney but Mom has never read a book or seen a movie from it so she has no clue what it all means. You would probably love all the Harry Potter stuff at Disney since you know what it is! Have a happy Tuesday!

  2. I am a total embarrassment to my children. I have not read Harry Potter stories or watched the shows.

  3. Love all the funnies. You made me laugh out loud more than once.

I've not read or seen any of Harry Potter. I'm not sure why, but I haven't.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
