A Wedding and a Diet Change

Hey all!  We celebrated my nephew's marriage this past weekend. I had the honor of helping with the rehearsal dinner decorations (Fiesta theme).  I had purchased some piñatas and maracas, and I also made 40 tissue paper flowers.

They looked pretty awesome if I do say so myself.  They used some decorations from my daughter's wedding 11 months ago.

It was a beautiful wedding and so fun!   My sister and her son did not do the typical mother/son dance.  No mushy music for them!  They danced to Uptown Funk and got everyone out on the dance floor before it was over.

I still love to dance.  I just pray I don't look like Elaine from Seinfeld when dancing.

My mom, the groom's grandmother, couldn't wait to leave, though.  She isn't much into parties and dancing these days, and she doesn't drive, so I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked.

Following my procedure yesterday, Ineed to make some big changes in my diet in order to increase the amount of fiber I eat.  Oh, what fun getting older can be!  I was researching fiber supplements, and many of them say to take 5 capsules 4 times a day!  Who does that?  I want a once-daily supplement.  Any suggestions?

And now...

This is so true!

I hope no cat got hurt in making this picture!

Hahaha!

Is this what the world is coming to?

Hahaha!

This is valid!

So true!

  1. Those are some good funnies, especially the one where you have to wake up early! As for the fiber, why not just eat more fiber rich foods and skip the pills? Look up foods high in fiber and add them to your diet. Gramma takes a metamucil thing for fiber. She hates the taste but it works for her. Mom is into the natural way, so she eats high fiber foods.
