Random Tuesday

I'm linking up with Stacy.

Did you know Labor Day first began in the United States On Tuesday, September 5, 1882 in New York.  It didn't become a national holiday until 1894.

It celebrates the millions of men and women in the workforce, their celebrations and achievements.  I was so thankful for the extra day off.  I was off school and off at my retail job.  That hasn't happened in a while!

Unfortunately, I'm still having problems with my foot.  The fracture is still there in the sesamoid bone. There are two sesamoid bones underneath the ball of the foot.

One is fine, the other is broken.  Although very small bones that are embedded in tendons, I'm finding that they are also very useful.  So far, my treatment hasn't helped.  The only thing that has helped is resting my foot, but I have to work!  I guess I may end up trying the boot again.  We'll see.  This has been going on since December.

And now...
Do people still follow this "rule?"

I hope you find this funny like I did.  I don't mean to offend anyone!

Have a great week!

  1. The biggest problem with working from home is there is always something to do other than work, like the housework that never gets done.

Trans-slender is funny, like the person who doesn't care if the groceries are in paper or plastic because "I am bi-sackual."

    Praying your bone heals soon!
