When I was a little girl, one of the biggest events of any shopping season, whether back-to-school or holiday, was using Kmart layaway.  It was great because we couldn't always afford the expenses all at one time, but with layaway, you can spread the payments out over time.  We ended up with some great things this way.  One of my favorite childhood gifts was a pair of roller skates from Kmart.

A few weeks ago, I started shopping for holiday gifts.  I was eyeing this Canon camera.  Walmart and Best Buy don't have layaway, so I wasn't able to get it that day.  Now, I can go to Kmart and put it on layaway. Photobucket  I'd also love to get this Archos tablet for one of my kids.  They have everything... clothes, shoes, makeup, gifts, electronics, games, you name it.  And maybe I will even win a big prize!
