This past weekend I was at a retreat, so I didn't get to see any fireworks! I heard the ones at the National mall were post-poned for several hours due to rain. I would have liked to have seen our hometown fireworks. Those for the 4th largest city in the US must have been fabulous! But, alas, all I could do was hear the amateur pyro from where I was. Oh well.
And right now, I'm eating slightly expired yogurt and wondering what's going to happen to me! Wish me luck!

The retreat was probably worth it, at least I hope it was. We didn’t see much here, either.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't see any fireworks either. We had very few in our neighborhood and we were happy about that. Our kitties were even happier.

My brother was the one who spent a mortgage payment on fireworks. Oh the lights and noise! It was a blast, literally.
