Is everyone getting into the holiday spirit? Can't believe we're less than 3 weeks out! I think I have finished shopping. I think. I love giving gifts. I don't mind receiving them, either, but I really get joy out of gifting. What's your love language? Haha!
I also love having the lighted Christmas tree on while I watch a Christmas movie. I've got stockings for our granddaughters hanging on the mantle as well as some homemade crafts and Christmas pillows. I love the season.
This year will be a bit... different. We had just lost Mom 3 weeks before Christmas last year, and it was all a blur. Did we even have Christmas last year? This years FEELS like the first one without her. It's also different because we won't be seeing all of our kids on Christmas Day. They are all either married, divorced, or engaged to be married, and trying to get them all in one place for even a short time is difficult. One son will be in another state. Two daughters in different cities. We'll have to have our "Christmas time" with some of them after Christmas! It's just going to be... different. What are your plans?
