Question for you today... Where do you stand on the custom of tipping housekeeping staff at a hotel? Do you always leave a few dollars in the room when you check out? Does it depend on the type of hotel/motel? Does it depend how many days you were there? Okay. That was many questions. I'm curious, though. Where do you stand on tipping hotel housekeeping staff.
That's all I got for today!

ReplyDeleteYes, on the rare occasion I stay in a hotel, and it’s been years, I do leave a tip. After all, I’m a janitor/housekeeper myself and know how hard the work can be. How much depends a lot on how much I have and how expensive the place is, but I try to leave at least $5 per night. That’s just me, of course.
Last time we stayed in a hotel, they had a way to tip online with a QR code, otherwise, I leave an envelope with the words, “Tip for Housekeeping” on a table or desk (but not the nightstand, I’ve heard that’s a no no).
I definitely leave a tip for housekeeping (always with a note of thanks) when I stay in a hotel.
ReplyDeleteLoved your funnies!
