I had to go to the drugstore today to pick up a prescription. Does anyone even call those places drugstores anymore? Or just pharmacies? They are so much more than just pharmacies! They're department stores!

I miss real department stores of the past. They are hard to find now. The one we have here feels like a warehouse.
ReplyDeleteChocolate! They have chocolate. And sodas. And candy. And gum. Magazines. Books! They're like what a 7-11 used to be except they also sell drugs.
ReplyDeleteGift cards. I got my nephew a gift card to CVS for his 16th birthday (on the 4th). I asked his dad (my brother) what I should get him, and this was the suggestion. Their small town has a CVS on their main street, and he and his friends hang out there. A lot. Because, yeah, they have everything. (And yes, he did like it.)
