I'm sharing some of my favorite comics from my childhood.  Enjoy!

The Lockhorns are so politically incorrect and chauvinistic for today's world,

 but in the 70's, this was pretty funny!

(I just realized this - Lock Horns.  To lock horns is to argue!  Never dawned on me before!)

Hope you have a fun Friday!

Peanuts was one of my favorites as a kid.  I had several books of Peanuts comics.  I just love Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the whole gang! (Click to see pictures larger)

Many of my books were the "old style" Charlie Brown/Peanuts characters.  They weren't comic books, but they were paperback books with cartoon after cartoon in them.  I LOVED them!

In case you haven't heard, it's raining buckets in Southeast Texas!  Some areas are flooding.  Others are experiencing flash floods and electricity outages.  In fact, I better hurry or I won't have power!  So, today, I bring you... RAIN!

Are you watching March Madness?  College sports is not usually my interest, but I'm so proud of my daughter's alma mater, Abilene Christian University, for making history.

 It is the first time they have been in the NCAA Division I basketball playoffs.  Yes, they got whooped by Kentucky.  Everyone expects that when #2 plays #15.  But just being there is remarkable.  The ACU Women's basketball team, not to be outdone,  made it to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight for the second year in a row. Way to go, Wildcats!
