Seems like every day we hear new details about Anna Kepner, the 18 year old who passed away during a cruise. That poor family. The report I read today implicated her step brother. I really have no idea. It's just sad, regardless of exact details. Sad. And we are taking two cruises next year, so it sort of makes me uncomfortable.
We're getting ready for Thanksgiving here. What are your plans? We are having a "pot luck" meal at my brother in law's home. It should be fun. My son has asked me to make my cornbread dressing which I will gladly do. Gravy and jellied cranberry sauce are coming with us, and my husband will be making jalapeno cheese sourdough bread. Thanksgiving has my favorite meal of all year: Turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls and cranberry sauce. What are your favorites?
What are your family traditions? (One of mine is the dressing that my mom taught me how to make).Hit comment and let me know yours!
How about some funnies?

That is sad about that young lady. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteLove all the funnies. That last one made me spew my coffee.
We're having air fryer chicken, dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy. It's just the two of us and that's the way we like it.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ♥
Oh, that last funny!
ReplyDeleteWe go to my parent's house. This year, thanks to a mouse chewing a dishwasher hose, there's no kitchen as the remodel will be done by mid-December. We're doing take-out for Thanksgiving from anyplace that's open, it's really all we can do with no appliances hooked up, no counters, nothing. It will be different but we'll all be together, and that's what counts. Plus, we'll have a funny story for years to come.
