This is how I feel right now:
Here's something I thought about posting before the new year, but as you can see, I didn't do it in time!
How was your holiday? Ours was good. We are blessed with family, enough funds for some gifts, and time off to enjoy each other. Here is half the family. We had to do three different celebrations: our own with just our kids, my husband's family, and my family. It was a busy day for sure, but I enjoyed it!
On a different note - amidst the celebrating - I had my standard 0ver-age-50 colonoscopy. Some of you probably know how fun that is! Also, the day after Christmas, I found out I have a stress fracture in my right foot, and I was given this lovely "boot" to wear for three weeks.
We stayed home on New Year's Eve. We sometimes go to a Rockets game, but we were in our pj's early this year. The game is always over about 9-ish anyway. Mr. Forgetfulone was in bed before the countdown! Even my 22 year old son was home by 12:30 AM. Aren't we a fun group? LOL!
And now...
I wish I'd posted this before Christmas, but you know how that goes! And it's so true!
